The Cast of Rosie's Rescue

Rosie

Tia Link is best known for her roles as a woman torn between love and faith in Obligation (which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2016), a quick-thinking cheating girlfriend in Allergic to Cats, and a demon-hunting hippie in Another Soul. She was trained in theatre and film in New York at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and the MN Acting Studio. Originally from Bountiful, Utah, Tia has lived in London and Sydney and traveled extensively pursuing her passions. Oh, and she’s also a lawyer (Stanford Law School)!

Curley

Eric Olson can be seen in Garry Marshall’s Raising Helen, with Kate Hudson, as well as in the title roles of the films The Shower Singer and Ed/Ted. On stage, Eric appeared as Houdini in the First National Tour of Ragtime, as well as in theatres Off-Broadway and across America and Europe, including The Kennedy Center, Goodspeed Opera House, Trinity Repertory Company, The Falcon Theatre, Sacramento Music Circus, Theatre By-The-Sea, Gateway Playhouse, and Disney’s Hyperion Theatre.

Molly Garner

Jean

Molly Garner is an actress, singer, dancer, and writer. She performed in national tours of Mary Poppins, 101 Dalmatians, and Billy Elliot. Her B.F.A. in acting is from Carnegie Mellon, and she trained at People’s Improv Theatre, New York (improv); Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, Scotland (Shakespeare); Mel Mack Acting Studio, New York (Acting for Camera); and with Gary Kline and Johnna Taviannini for singing.  Her regional theatre experience ranges from Los Angeles to New York and many points in between.

Sherryl Despres

Warden

Sherryl Despres is best known for playing Dean Cain's wife in Horse Camp and Kevin Sorbo's girlfriend in Rodeo Girl. She began her acting and modeling career as a child in California, where she was “discovered” in a school play. This led to scholarships to study acting and roles in educational films. Sherryl now lives in Michigan where she stays busy acting in live theatre, industrial films, commercials, and movies. She has won “best supporting actress” in a play and been nominated twice. Projects in which she participated have won an Emmy and numerous film festival awards.

Charity Dehmer

Mrs. Dowel

Character actor Charity Dehmer works regularly to continue to build her body of work. She has studied at The Second City in Chicago and hones her skills attending workshops at Indiana Actors Academy in Indianapolis. She was awarded the “Best Acting Ensemble” award in 2018 and 2019 for her work in 48 Hour Film Fest films WTF and Spy Game.

Addy Farrell

Young Rosie

Addy is very excited to be making her film debut in Rosie’s Rescue! She is a fifth grade student at College Wood Elementary in Carmel. Outside of school, Addy spends about 18-20 hours a week training in all styles of dance. She has appeared in several roles of the Nutcracker Ballet and recently filmed a commercial for the Indianapolis Public Library.  She loves to hang out with her friends, volunteer, and read Harry Potter books!

Allie Stacy

Emersen

Allie is excited to be working on her first short film in Rosie's Rescue!  She performed as Lulu in the Broadway National Tour of Waitress in Indianapolis.  She has enjoyed singing for local audiences in talent shows.
